Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor from the United States. His first appearance on television Evans portrayed parts such as Opposite sex in 2000. After appearing in numerous teen movies, including Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he was renowned for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch. Evans was also seen in films based on comic books: TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2013). The film gained him more recognition due to the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). Because of his Marvel film work, he was one of the highest paid actors in the world.
